St. Thomas is a parish of the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement. We seek to adhere to the biblical call to be a house of prayer for all people. Our people are of many ages and come from many religious traditions. Some are lifelong Episcopalians, and some are just beginning their spiritual pilgrimage.

Our worship is the center of our spiritual life. As Christians, we seek to affirm God as Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

As a historic church, our roots are 2,000+ years old and our foundations are solid:

  • Scripture (Bible)
  • Tradition (the witness of the faithful through the centuries) and
  • Reason (God at work in us and through us today.)

As an Episcopal parish, we are part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We are a balance of Catholic and Protestant with our liturgy (worship) and dogma (beliefs) being Catholic in nature (affirmed by the faithful throughout the centuries) and our form of governance being Protestant in nature (the membership and local church is in balance with the authority of our bishops)
